We are a friendly and social lawn bowls club located in Bury St Edmunds.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced bowler, you will find a warm welcome waiting for you! New season starts from 14th April - register NOW!

Members have been bowling at St Edmundsbury Club for over 100 years.

The club participates in several leagues and competitions.

Weekly sessions allow beginners to learn the game in a fun environment.

Our fully licenced bar is open for refreshment.

Every Wednesday from the 16th April 6pm for a 6.30pm start

£2.50 a game

£1.50 juniors

Bring a friend, just turn up, no dress code except flat shoes, no equipment needed we have bowls to loan

Games Vary but we love Bowls Bash!

Bowls Bash Basic Rules

2 sets of 5 ends played in pairs

3 points for closest to the jack, 2 points for 2nd and 1 for 3rd

2 points for a kiss of the jack

fixed jack for faster play, mat can be moved

one bowl final end in the case of a draw

Power play each set to double the points on a chosen end
